Hello and thanks for visiting the Dunfanaghy Jazz & Blues Festival website.

Following on from last year's hugely successful festival we are delighted to announce that the 2010 Dunfanaghy Jazz and Blues Festival will take place from Thursday September 9th - Sunday 12th September. So come along and enjoy the music and craic.

Jazz & Blues Singing Class with Anne Patterson and the Children's Community Choir 2.00pm to 3.00pm on Saturday 11th September at The Workhouse. No Booking Required, €5.00 per child, Age 7+.

"Swing Jazz" Dance Class with Marian Shiels in the Ozanam Centre Saturday 11th September 3.00pm to 4.00pm, no booking required. Class suitable for Beginners and Beyond, no partner required, €5.00 per person. Complimentary Refreshments for participants at the Workhouse after the Class.

Young People's Jazz Workshop Bring your drums, keyboard, guitar, voice, trumpet or whatever instrument you play! Learn some jazz tunes and improvisation skills with Triona Sweeney and Jacqueline Toner in this 2 hour workshop exploring rhythm, scat, improvisation while learning some new jazz songs and ends with a public performance at 2pm. Suitable for beginners and experienced players and singers.
Suitable for young people aged 8+, on Sunday 12th September in Holy Trinity Church Hall from 12.00pm to 2.00pm. Booking is advised through the Workhouse, 00 353 (0) 74 91 36540. Cost €10 per person.
