Jazz & Blues Music Workshop
Play the song that Jack Richards recorded at the sound recording workshop with Ed Humm School of Rock. Funded by the North West Alcohol Forum.
The classes finish with a bang on Sunday 11th Sept 11.00am to 2.00pm in Holy Trinity Church Hall with Ed and the Skool of Rock's Sound Recording Workshop. Participants are given an overview of recording and musical production techniques in this unique workshop especially designed to provide inclusion of the youth culture into what is a mature and well established music festival.
This unique project involves the essence of hip hop beats to produce a free-form and improvised verse which would be very similar to the original musical creative recording process of pure jazz musicians. The final recordings will be played at Arnold's Hotel 7.30pm-8.00pm Sunday evening. It will then be possible for the track to be uploaded on to youtube for friends, and family to enjoy.
All the classes are offered free of charge thanks to the funding received by the Community Mobilisation Project which is one of several such projects in the North West Border area and forms part of a larger regional initiative under the Co-operation & Working Together's (CAWT) 'Time IVA Change' Border Region Alcohol Project which is funded through the Special EU Programmes Body under the European Union's INTERREG IVA Programme.
